Job Overview
We are seeking a passionate culinary professional eager to showcase their skills in a fast-paced, fast casual dining environment. You should be reliable and detail oriented as a Lead Line Cook. As Lead Line Cook, you will oversee daily kitchen operations, lead food preparation efforts, and ensure the highest quality standards in safety, sanitation and food presentation are kept. Your leadership should inspire the kitchen staff, coordinate with the Executive Chef on menu planning, inventory control and ordering. This position offers an exciting opportunity for future growth with the company.
Responsibilities
- Supervise and coordinate the activities of line cooks and kitchen staff to ensure efficient food production and service.
- Assist in menu planning, recipe development, and food presentation to uphold quality standards.
- Oversee food safety protocols, sanitation procedures, and proper handling of ingredients to maintain compliance with local health authorities.
- Manage inventory control, including ordering food and supplies, monitoring stock levels, and minimizing waste.
- Train team members on cooking techniques, food handling procedures, and customer service expectations.
- Collaborate with the executive chef and store management on shift scheduling, workflow optimization, and maintaining a positive kitchen environment.
- Ensure all opening and closing duties, including weekly deep cleaning responsibilities are completed.
Skills
- Extensive culinary experience with strong references.
- Proven supervising experience in a high-volume kitchen setting.
- Knowledge of fast-pace food production.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a diverse team.
- Expertise in inventory management, food safety standards, and kitchen management practices.
- Excellent food preparation skills including cooking techniques, recipe and menu execution.
- Proper knife handling skills.
- Experience in restaurant or hospitality environments with a focus on fast-pace food service management.
- Ability to handle multiple responsibilities such as shift management, food handling, and food procurement efficiently.

Pay: $60,000.00 - $65,000.00 per year
