Shift Manager – Dairy Queen

As a Shift Manager, you will report directly to the Store Manager and play a key role in daily operations. This position is ideal for someone with prior food service, retail, or supervisory experience who is ready to take the next step in leadership.

Key Responsibilities:
- Lead and supervise shifts with up to 7 crew members
- Deliver excellent customer service and resolve guest concerns
- Open and close the store; act as a keyholder once trained
- Ensure food safety, cleanliness, and brand standards are met
- Assist with training and coaching team members
- Handle cash, POS transactions, and shift paperwork
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in food service, retail, or a supervisory role preferred
- Strong leadership, communication, and problem-solving skills
- Dependable, responsible, and detail-oriented
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- Flexible availability, including days, evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Willingness to learn higher-level management skills
