We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Janitor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in cleaning and maintenance, ensuring that our facilities are kept in pristine condition. Responsibilities
- Perform routine cleaning tasks including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and vacuuming floors.
- Maintain cleanliness in restrooms, break rooms, and common areas by replenishing supplies and sanitizing surfaces.
- Conduct floor care activities such as buffing, waxing, and stripping as needed.
- Handle industrial cleaning tasks in compliance with safety regulations.
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks to ensure the proper functioning of equipment and infrastructure.
- Report any maintenance issues or safety hazards to management promptly.
- Provide porter services by moving furniture or equipment as required for events or maintenance activities.
- Follow established cleaning schedules and protocols to maintain high standards of cleanliness.
Requirements
- Previous janitorial or custodial experience is preferred.
- Knowledge of commercial cleaning techniques and equipment operation.
- Familiarity with floor care practices including buffing and waxing is a plus.
- Experience in residential painting or facilities maintenance is advantageous.
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to work independently or as part of a team.
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within set timelines.
