We are seeking a proactive and detail-oriented Warehouse Custodian to join our team. In this vital role, you will ensure the cleanliness, safety, and maintenance of our warehouse facilities. Duties
- Perform cleaning duties throughout the warehouse, including sweeping, mopping, dusting, and trash removal to maintain a tidy environment
- Conduct janitorial and custodial tasks such as window cleaning, restroom sanitation, and floor care using appropriate equipment like buffers and scrubbers
- Maintain floors through buffing and polishing to ensure safety and appearance standards are met
- Assist with facilities maintenance tasks including light repairs and reporting any issues needing specialized attention
- Support industrial cleaning activities for production areas or equipment as needed
- Ensure all cleaning supplies are stocked and properly stored for ongoing use
- Follow safety protocols during all custodial activities to promote a secure work environment
Requirements
- Proven experience in cleaning, custodial work, or janitorial services within commercial or industrial settings
- Knowledge of floor care techniques including buffing, stripping, and polishing floors
- Experience with general facilities maintenance or porter duties preferred
- Ability to operate cleaning equipment such as buffers, vacuums, and pressure washers safely and effectively
- Strong attention to detail with the ability to follow safety procedures diligently
- Excellent time management skills to complete tasks efficiently within scheduled shifts
- Physical ability to stand, walk, bend, lift heavy objects, and perform repetitive cleaning tasks throughout the shift

Pay: From $16.50 per hour
