HEY GARAGE DOOR TECHS!!!!
We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated Senior Garage Door Technician to join our team. In this role, you will lead the installation, repair, and maintenance of garage doors and related systems, ensuring safety, quality, and customer satisfaction. Your expertise in mechanical systems, construction processes, and technical troubleshooting will be essential to delivering exceptional service. Key Responsibilities
- Install, repair, and service residential and commercial garage door systems
- Troubleshoot mechanical, electrical, and operational issues
- Replace springs, cables, tracks, rollers, hinges, operators, and related components
- Conduct routine maintenance and safety inspections
- Document all work, materials, and customer interactions accurately
- Provide clear, professional communication to customers regarding service needs and recommendations
- Keep vehicles maintained according to schedule
- Follow all safety protocols, procedures, and company standards
- Assist in training and mentoring junior technicians when needed
Required Qualifications
- Minimum three years of garage door industry experience
- Strong knowledge of residential and commercial door systems
- Proficiency with torsion spring systems, openers, and general troubleshooting
- Ability to safely lift and handle garage door equipment
- Valid driver’s license with an acceptable driving record
- Strong communication, customer service, and problem-solving skills
- Self-motivated, able to work independently while maintaining high-quality results
- Leadership experience is beneficial but not mandatory
Preferred Qualifications
- Ability to train and mentor technicians
- Strong organizational and time-management abilities
