Job Overview
We are seeking a dedicated Licensed Practical Nurse (LPN) or Staff Nurse to join our healthcare team. The ideal candidate will possess comprehensive nursing skills, experience with diverse patient populations, and proficiency in electronic health record systems. Duties
- Conduct thorough patient assessments, including vital signs, physical examinations, and medical history documentation.
- Administer medications following physician orders and safety protocols.
- Document all patient interactions and treatments accurately.
- Consults with Head Nurse regarding medical/nursing and Juvenile Center operational procedures.
- Provides direct nursing care to detained juvenile residents.
- Triages, assesses, and facilitates appropriate treatment of residents with illnesses, injuries, and /or complaints.
- Performs other duties deemed necessary for the health and safety of the residents.
Experience
- Graduate of an accredited School of Practical Nursing with current LPN (License Practical Nurse) License.
- License to practice in the State of Indiana.
- Minimum five (5) years of recent acute care
- Nursing experience required
Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $50,090.00 per year
