Sales and business Development
- Sell specialty chemical products, primarily para-aramid (trademarked Heracron) and para-aramid converted yarn/fabric/composites, for various industries such as safety, defense, ICT, aerospace, automotive, and other industrial fields with strong focus on safety and ballistics.
- Develop and expand commercial relationships with key industrial customers while prospecting for new accounts to increase market share.
- Conduct market intelligence activities to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and industry developments that drive business opportunities
- Coordinate and take part in weekly/bi-weekly/quarterly sales summary/market intelligence meetings with the team to track, forecast and maintain sales and provide comprehensive sales forecast as well as market intelligence.
- Manage the sales pipeline to identify and convert new business opportunities into commercial success.
- On the per-needed basis, outside of attending forementioned regular sales summary meetings, provide forecast sales trends to support operations planning and introduce product innovations.
Customer Relationship & Market Intelligence
- Service existing accounts, manage existing sales reps, develop new sales reps, secure orders, and establish new accounts by strategically planning and organizing daily sales activities.
- Resolve customer complaints by investigating issues, developing solutions, preparing reports, and making recommendations to management.
- Monitor industry trends, competitive landscape, and pricing strategies to enhance market positioning and identify potential growth areas.
- Keep management informed by submitting regular activity and performance reports, including daily call reports, weekly work plans, and monthly/annual territory analysis.
Industry Engagement & Professional Development
- Maintain up-to-date industry knowledge by attending trade shows, participating in professional societies, engaging in educational workshops, and reviewing industry publications.
- Develop a strong understanding of international business cultures and effectively engage with professionals from diverse backgrounds.
Qualification / Requirements
- Bachelor's degree preferred (or equivalent work experience).
- Excellent communication, negotiation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong customer relationship management and account management abilities.
- Self-motivated with the ability to work independently and manage multiple priorities.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook).
- Willingness to travel as needed.
- Ability to commute to the office on a regular basis.
Pay: $1.00 - $2.00 per year
