Pay: [$14–$18 per hour / Weekly]
About the Position
We are seeking a creative, enthusiastic, and dependable Workshop Instructor to lead engaging hands-on workshops for our guests. The ideal candidate enjoys working with people, has strong communication skills, and can foster a fun, welcoming atmosphere for participants of all skill levels.
The Workshop Instructor will be responsible for preparing and leading workshops, guiding participants through activities, answering questions, and ensuring each guest has a positive and memorable experience.
Responsibilities
- Conduct engaging, hands-on workshops and activities.
- Clearly explain instructions and demonstrate techniques.
- Foster a welcoming and positive environment for all participants.
- Assist guests during workshops and offer individual guidance when needed.
- Prepare materials, supplies, and workspace ahead of each session.
- Keep the workshop area organized, clean, and safe.
- Monitor supplies and notify when additional materials are required.
- Provide excellent customer service and interact positively with guests.
- Help with setup and cleanup before and after workshops.
- Follow workshop guidelines while adding your own personality and creativity.
- Represent the business professionally and warmly.
Qualifications
- Experience in teaching, instructing, hospitality, events, art, crafts, or customer service is advantageous.
- Comfortable engaging with groups.
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills.
- Creative, energetic, personable.
- Reliable and punctual.
- Able to work independently and as part of a team.
- Willing to work evenings and/or weekends during scheduled workshops.
- Comfortable standing, moving around, and assisting participants during workshops.
