Gather Restaurant Group is expanding operations to the west side of Maui with an exciting new location in Kaanapali. We're building a team of hospitality leaders who are passionate about operational excellence, strong team culture, and creating memorable guest experiences.
Role Summary
We are seeking experienced Assistant Managers and Assistant General Managers to support daily operations across Gather Restaurant Group locations. These roles are responsible for front and back-of-house coordination, staff leadership, guest satisfaction, and driving operational and financial performance.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the General Manager in overseeing daily restaurant operations
- Lead, train, and motivate front and back-of-house staff
- Ensure high standards of guest service and resolve guest concerns promptly
- Monitor labor costs, scheduling, and staffing levels to meet business needs
- Assist with inventory management, ordering, and cost control
- Ensure compliance with health, safety, and sanitation standards
- Support financial performance by monitoring sales, budgets, and expenses
- Help implement and uphold company policies, procedures, and service standards
- Step in to manage full operations in the General Manager's absence
Qualifications
- Prior experience as an Assistant Manager, AGM, or similar restaurant leadership role
- Strong leadership and team development skills
- Solid understanding of restaurant operations, including front and back-of-house
- Experience with scheduling, labor management, and cost control
- Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
- Ability to work a flexible schedule, including evenings, weekends, and holidays
- Passion for hospitality and delivering excellent guest experiences

Pay: $70,000.00 - $80,000.00 per year
