Responsibilities
- Manage the leasing process from initial inquiry through lease signing, including conducting property tours and explaining lease terms clearly and confidently
- Maintain accurate records of lease agreements, renewals, and tenant files using property management software such as AppFolio
- Coordinate with maintenance teams to ensure property upkeep aligns with tenant expectations and regulatory standards
- Assist prospective tenants with application procedures and make sure they meet all qualifications.
- Handle legal administrative tasks related to lease agreements, and compliance with Fair Housing regulations and landlord-tenant law
- Resolve tenant concerns promptly through effective conflict management and excellent customer service skills
- Support marketing efforts by upselling available units and fostering strong customer relationships to increase occupancy rates
Requirements
- Proven experience in property leasing, property management, or real estate administrative roles with familiarity in property management software such AppFolio
- Knowledge of landlord-tenant law, Fair Housing regulations
- Excellent customer service skills with professional phone etiquette and conflict resolution abilities
- Demonstrated experience in sales, upselling techniques, and client relationship management within the property
- Office experience involving data entry, filing, CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System), and general administrative support
- Ability to handle multiple priorities efficiently while maintaining attention to detail in a fast-paced environment
