Duties
- Wash, sanitize, and organize dishes, glassware, utensils, pots, pans, and kitchen equipment promptly and thoroughly.
- Assist with food preparation tasks such as chopping vegetables or assembling ingredients when needed.
- Support the kitchen team by bussing tables and clearing dining areas during service.
- Maintain cleanliness of the dishwashing area by regularly cleaning sinks, counters, and equipment.
- Follow proper food handling and safety procedures to ensure hygiene standards are met at all times.
- Help with catering and banquet setups by providing clean dishware and assisting with setup or breakdown as required.
- Collaborate with kitchen staff to ensure efficient workflow during busy service hours.
Experience
- Previous restaurant or hospitality experience is preferred but not required; enthusiasm and willingness to learn are key!
- Familiarity with food service operations, including basic food handling and sanitation practices.
- Experience in banquet settings or catering environments is a plus.
- Knowledge of kitchen safety protocols and cleaning procedures is advantageous.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining attention to detail.
