Medical Assistant – Clinical Research

Position Summary
As a Clinical Research Medical Assistant, you will play an essential role in supporting research participants throughout their study visits. This position combines traditional medical assisting skills with the unique responsibilities of clinical research, making it an excellent opportunity for someone who is highly organized, detail-oriented, and passionate about patient care.
Responsibilities
- Welcome and check in study participants
- Obtain vital signs and perform study-related procedures
- Perform phlebotomy
- Perform EKGs
- Request and obtain outside medical records
- Assist research coordinators and investigators with study visits
- Accurately document all study activities in accordance with ALCOA principles (Attributable, Legible, Contemporaneous, Original, and Accurate)
- Maintain strict attention to detail while following study protocols and regulatory requirements
- Provide compassionate, professional care to research participants
Qualifications
- Minimum 1 year of experience in the medical field
- Current Medical Assistant certification preferred, but experience will be considered
- Proficient in phlebotomy
- Experience obtaining vital signs
- ECG experience preferred
- Excellent communication and organizational skills
- Strong attention to detail
- Ability to work independently while collaborating with a multidisciplinary team
- Interest in learning the field of clinical research
Schedule
Monday–Friday
7:30 AM – 4:30 PM
No nights, weekends, or major holidays.

Pay: $17.00 - $23.00 per hour
