Duties
- Provide personal care assistance including bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Assist with daily living activities and mobility support, including heavy lifting when necessary.
- Administer medications as prescribed and monitor health conditions.
- Support individuals in group home settings or private residences by fostering independence and encouraging social interaction.
- Engage clients in meaningful activities that promote mental and emotional well-being.
- Maintain a clean and safe environment for clients, ensuring all safety protocols are followed.
- Document care provided and report any changes in client condition to appropriate personnel.
Experience
- Previous experience in caregiving or related fields such as home health or social work is preferred.
- Familiarity with patient care techniques, medication administration, and working with individuals with autism is advantageous.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with clients, families, and team members.
- A compassionate nature with a genuine desire to help others improve their quality of life.
