Seabury seeks experienced waitstaff to join our dynamic team! The ideal candidate will have a positive and cheerful demeanor when interacting with others, a passion for delivering outstanding customer service, and a “can-do” attitude. Minimum of 1+ years’ experience in culinary or comparative customer service experience is desired. We have a professional and fun working environment with great perks!
ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
- Oversee operations of the dining room in the manager’s absence.
- Help train new employees and ensure all staff are properly following sanitation & safety procedures.
- Update resident diets (healthcare) as orders come in daily.
- Champion all new and existing policies as a leader among peers.
- Oversee dining room service and handle any customer issues that arise
- Update and print dessert menus in the manager’s absence
- Print meal slips, as needed in manager’s absence
- Gives direction to wait staff, assign sections and side jobs
- Work with manager on keeping inventory of equipment, always maintaining quality and quantity.
- Maintain uniform policy as it pertains to staff in manager’s absence
- Do daily Pre-Service huddles in manager’s absence
- Proficient computer skills including Microsoft 365
