HR Coordinator — Job Description
The HR Coordinator supports the full employee lifecycle with a primary focus on recruiting and onboarding (90%). This role ensures the company attracts, hires, and successfully integrates top talent while maintaining compliance and supporting essential HR operations such as attendance tracking, training logistics, and employment documentation (10%).
Core Responsibilities (90% Recruiting & Orientation)
- Talent Acquisition — Manage full‑cycle recruiting including job postings, sourcing, screening, interviewing, and coordinating hiring decisions. Build strong candidate pipelines through proactive outreach and networking.
- Applicant Tracking — Maintain accurate candidate records, update applicant statuses, and ensure compliance with hiring policies.
- Interview Coordination — Schedule interviews, prepare hiring managers, and ensure a smooth, professional candidate experience.
- New‑Hire Orientation — Lead orientation sessions, introduce company policies, and ensure new employees have the tools and resources needed for success.
- Onboarding Administration — Prepare onboarding packets, process new‑hire paperwork, initiate background checks, and coordinate IT and workspace setup.
- Hiring Manager Support — Partner with supervisors to understand staffing needs, refine job descriptions, and improve hiring outcomes.
- Recruitment Reporting — Track and report on key recruiting metrics such as time‑to‑fill, candidate flow, and hiring quality.
Additional Responsibilities (10% Attendance, Training, Employment Documents)
- Attendance Tracking — Monitor attendance records, track patterns, and support corrective action processes when needed.
- Training Coordination — Assist with scheduling training sessions, maintaining training logs, and communicating requirements to employees.
- Employment Documentation — Maintain accurate and confidential employee files, update HR records, and ensure compliance with federal and state documentation standards.
- Policy Support — Assist with distributing policy updates and ensuring employees acknowledge required documents
Qualifications
- HR experience with a strong emphasis on recruiting and onboarding
- Knowledge of HR laws, hiring compliance, and documentation standards
- Strong communication, organization, and relationship‑building skills
- Experience with HRIS or ATS systems preferred
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast‑paced environment
Pay: $1.00 per hour
