As the Lead Host at Percy, you'll be the welcoming face that sets the tone for our guests' dining experience. You'll play a crucial role in ensuring that every guest feels valued, comfortable, and well taken care of from the moment they step through our doors.

Key Responsibilities:
1. Guest Welcome: Extend a warm and genuine welcome to guests as they arrive, creating a friendly and inviting atmosphere that sets the stage for a memorable dining experience.
2. Seating Management: Efficiently manage the seating process, ensuring that guests are seated promptly and that tables are turned over efficiently to accommodate new arrivals.
3. Team Leadership: Lead and inspire the host team, setting a positive example and providing guidance and support to ensure smooth operations and exceptional guest service.
4. Guest Relations: Anticipate guest needs and respond promptly and courteously to any inquiries, requests, or concerns, going above and beyond to exceed their expectations.
5. Queue Management: Manage waiting lists during peak hours, keeping guests informed of wait times and ensuring their comfort while they wait.
6. Communication Hub: Serve as the central point of communication between guests, servers, kitchen staff, and management, facilitating smooth coordination and problem-solving as needed.
7. Cleanliness and Organization: Maintain cleanliness and organization at the host stand and lobby area, ensuring a positive first impression for our guests.
8. Problem Resolution: Handle guest complaints or issues with professionalism and discretion, working to find satisfactory resolutions and ensure guest satisfaction.
9. Menu Familiarization: Provide guests with information about our menu offerings, including recommendations and descriptions of featured dishes, to enhance their dining experience.
10. Training and Development: Train and mentor new host team members, providing them with the knowledge and skills needed to succeed in their roles and contribute to the success of the restaurant.
Requirements:
Previous experience in a host/hostess or guest service role, preferably in a restaurant or hospitality setting.
Excellent interpersonal and communication skills, with a friendly and approachable demeanor.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail, with the ability to handle multiple tasks efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
Leadership qualities, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team to deliver exceptional service.
Flexibility to work at least 5 shifts on 5 different days of the week, including evenings, weekends, and holidays.
Availability to work the following shift times: 3:00pm to 9:00pm Monday through Thursday, 3:00pm to 10:00pm on Fridays and Saturdays, and 3:00pm to 8:00pm on Sundays.
