Alpha Labor Co is seeking experienced AWS Certified Ironworker Welders to join our construction team. This role involves travel to project sites and hands-on work with structural steel. We’re looking for skilled welders who can read blueprints, perform precise welds, and work effectively as part of a team.
Responsibilities
- Read and interpret construction blueprints.
- Weld kicker plates and bridging angles in accordance with project specifications.
- Ensure all work meets AWS standards and safety requirements.
- Collaborate with team members to complete structural steel projects efficiently.
Requirements
- AWS Welding Certification (required).
- Minimum 2 years of welding experience.
- Valid driver’s license with ability to travel.
- Ability to lift up to 50 lbs and work in varying site conditions.
- Strong teamwork and communication skills.
- Ability to operate aerial lifts.
- Crane signaling & fall protection knowledge.
Compensation & Schedule
- Pay: 28-31 per hour.
- Schedule: 50–60 hours per week, part-time travel role.
