CDL Class A Truck Driver

Pay: $82,400 – $93,600 per year

About the Role
We are hiring CDL Class A drivers for an opportunity based out of Williamsport, PA. Drivers run with authority hauling dry van freight, with 70% drop-and-hook and 100% no-touch freight. Drivers are typically out 5–7 days at a time before returning home, with a full 34-hour reset built into the weekly schedule. Trainees, experienced solo drivers are all welcome to apply.
Compensation and Benefits
- Home time: 5-7 days, 34-hour reset
- Average weekly pay: $1,400–$1,800
- CPM rate: $0.71 - $0.73
- Paid weekly via direct deposit every Friday
- Breakdown Pay: $100
- Layover Pay: $40 after 24 hours
- Dock Detention Pay: $15/hour after 2 hours
- Multi-Stop Pay: $15 per stop (excluding 1st and last)
- Paid Orientation
- Late-model Peterbilt, Freightliner, and International equipment (average age 1.5 years)
- 100% automatic transmission sleepers, with double bunks and fridges
Responsibilities
- Safely operate a CDL Class A commercial vehicle
- Transport dry van freight according to scheduled delivery times
- Complete pre-trip and post-trip inspections
- Maintain accurate ELogs and required documentation
- Follow all DOT safety regulations and company policies
Requirements
- Experience Level: Trainees and Experienced Drivers welcome
- Special Equipment: Dry Van
- Endorsements: None required
- Valid CDL Class A license
- Ability to pass DOT physical and drug screening
- Good safety record and responsible driving habits
- Must reside within a reasonable distance of Williamsport, PA
