About the Role
LowCountry LifeScan is seeking a detail-oriented Radiology Technologist Assistant to support our CT imaging operations in Bluffton, SC. Working under the supervision of a licensed radiologist, you will manage the full exam workflow — from patient preparation through final report delivery — using our GE Lightspeed CT scanner and supporting platforms. This is a hands-on technical role suited for candidates with radiologic technology training or experience in a clinical imaging environment.Responsibilities
- Verify patient identity and review relevant medical history prior to each exam
- Position patients correctly for GE Lightspeed CT scanning and select the appropriate imaging protocol for each study
- Transmit completed images to the radiologist via OsiriX and manage image quality review prior to distribution
- Create and document accurate exam requests in our RIS, including relevant patient history, exam type, and clinical context
- Save finalized radiology reports and distribute securely
- Maintain patient safety, privacy, and confidentiality standards throughout all interactions and documentation

Qualifications
Required
- Strong attention to detail in patient identification, protocol selection, and documentation
- Comfort with electronic health record and radiology information systems
- Anatomy & Physiology coursework required; current students welcome to apply
Preferred
- Familiarity with CT scanner operation and patient positioning
- Radiologic technology training or equivalent clinical imaging experience
- Experience with GE Lightspeed CT systems specifically
- Experience with OsiriX or similar DICOM viewing software
- ARRT certification or current enrollment in an accredited radiologic technology program

Pay: $20.00 - $25.00 per hour
