Copper Shaker Ybor is looking for energetic, personable, and hospitality-driven Servers/Bartenders to join our team. This is a dynamic front-of-house position responsible for providing exceptional guest service while confidently handling both serving and bartending responsibilities.
The ideal candidate is professional, dependable, knowledgeable about food and cocktails, and able to thrive in a fast-paced restaurant and nightlife environment.
Key Responsibilities / Guest Experience
- Provide friendly, attentive, and professional service from greeting through farewell.
- Create a welcoming atmosphere that reflects the Copper Shaker experience.
- Anticipate guest needs and respond quickly to requests.
- Maintain a positive and professional attitude during high-volume service.
- Handle guest concerns professionally and involve management when necessary.
Serving
- Accurately take food and beverage orders.
- Enter orders correctly and efficiently into the POS system.
- Deliver food and beverages promptly and accurately.
- Maintain knowledge of the menu, ingredients, allergens, and daily features.
- Upsell food, cocktails, spirits, and other beverages when appropriate.
- Monitor tables throughout the guest's experience and maintain clean, organized sections.
- Process payments accurately and responsibly.
Bartending
- Prepare cocktails, beer, wine, and other beverages according to Copper Shaker standards.
- Follow all established recipes, portion controls, and presentation standards.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and properly stocked bar.
- Monitor inventory and communicate low-stock items to management.
- Follow responsible alcohol-service practices and all applicable laws.
- Maintain proper cash-handling procedures.
- Assist with opening, closing, and side-work duties as assigned.
Team Expectations
- Arrive on time, in proper uniform, and ready to work.
- Follow all Copper Shaker policies and procedures.
- Communicate effectively with servers, bartenders, kitchen staff, barbacks, and management.
- Work as a team and assist other employees when needed.
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment.
- Complete assigned side work and closing duties thoroughly.
- Remain professional and respectful toward guests, coworkers, and management.
- Personal phone use is not permitted during working time except for approved work-related purposes.
Qualifications
- Previous serving and/or bartending experience preferred.
- Strong knowledge of cocktails, spirits, beer, and wine is a plus.
- Excellent communication and customer-service skills.
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume environment.
- Ability to remain calm and professional under pressure.
- Strong attention to detail.
- Reliable transportation and dependable attendance.
- Must meet all applicable age and legal requirements for alcohol service.

Physical Requirements
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods.
