Optometric Technician
Full-Time Position Available (Monday-Friday)
Location: Southwest Las Vegas (Buffalo and 215 freeway)
We are seeking a friendly, detail-oriented Optometric Technician to join our eye care team. The ideal candidate will assist with patient care and support our optometrists in providing excellent vision services.
Key Responsibilities
- Perform preliminary eye tests and measurements
- Assist with contact lens fittings and patient education
- Maintain patient records and schedule appointments
- Prepare examination rooms and sterilize equipment
- Pull vision insurance authorizations and explain benefits
- Process insurance claims and handle patient billing inquiries
Requirements
- High school diploma
- Previous experience in healthcare or optometry preferred, but not required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Customer service oriented
- Fun and outgoing personality
- Attention to detail and ability to work in a fast-paced environment
- Time management and organizational skills
- Basic computer skills
- Spanish proficiency is a plus
Office Hours:
Monday-Friday: 9:00 AM - 6:00 PM
Pay: From $16.00 per hour
