Shipping/Receiving Associate
EVS Metal is a leading American manufacturer of Precision Fabricated, Machined Metal and Integration services. We have an immediate opening in our Warehouse Department for a Shipping/Receiving Associate.
The Shipping/Receiving Associate will be responsible for packaging orders for outgoing shipments. Accept, receive, and distribute incoming orders and shipments.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Prepare shipping paperwork such as labels, packing slips and bill of lading. Coordinate with freight companies (UPS, FedEx, and etc.) on customer shipments. Record the shipment in EVS MRP system.
- Receive incoming shipments, un-package, visually inspect and record the receipt in EVS MRP system. Stage parts in the appropriate location.
- Maintain the accuracy of the stockroom and inventory racks.
- Package parts in preparation for outside services and coordinate with vendors on trucking schedule.
- Pick-up and deliver parts at outside vendors using a 24’ box truck when required.
- Maintain physical inventory.
- Frequent use of fork lift and pallets jacks.
Requirements:
- Computer Literacy
- Has a minimum of a High School diploma/GED plus 1+ years of shipping and receiving experience.
- Attention to Detail and Organized.
- Intermediate computer skills and knowledge of Microsoft Office.
- Previous MRP system experience preferred.
- Forklift experience is preferred, but willing to train
- Ability to multitask.
- Able to lift up to 50lbs.
- Is a supportive team member who works collaboratively within a group, and also can work independently
- Ability to handle multiple priorities with a positive, open attitude
- Is comfortable working in a fast paced environment and embraces Continuous Improvement
- Must have a valid Driver's License to Drive the Delivery Truck.
Salary: $17.00 - $18.00 per hour

- 1st shift 6:00-2:30
- Monday to Friday
