Position Overview
The Middle School Language Arts Teacher will serve as the 6th Grade Homeroom Teacher and provide instruction in 6th Grade Religion, Social Studies, and Language Arts, as well as 8th Grade Language Arts. The ideal candidate is committed to fostering academic growth, building positive relationships with students and families, and integrating Christian values into daily instruction.
Responsibilities
- Serve as the 6th Grade Homeroom Teacher.
- Teach 6th Grade Language Arts, Social Studies, and Religion.
- Teach 8th Grade Language Arts.
- Develop and implement engaging, standards-based lessons.
- Assess student progress and maintain accurate records.
- Differentiate instruction to meet the needs of diverse learners.
- Communicate regularly with parents regarding student progress and classroom activities.
- Collaborate with fellow teachers and administration to support student success.
- Participate in faculty meetings, professional development, school events, and extracurricular activities as assigned.
- Foster a positive classroom culture that reflects Christian values and promotes student growth.
Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Education or related field required.
- Valid teaching license preferred.
- Experience teaching middle school students preferred.
- Strong classroom management and communication skills.
- Ability to integrate faith into instruction and support the mission of a Christian school.
- Commitment to building strong relationships with students, families, and colleagues.

Pay: $42,000.00 - $50,000.00 per year
