Duties
- Greet clients warmly, schedule appointments, and manage client check-in and check-out processes using veterinary software.
- Assist with kennel duties, animal husbandry, and animal restraint to support veterinary procedures and ensure animal safety.(If applicable)
- Communicate effectively with clients regarding pet care instructions, treatment plans, and follow-up appointments.
- Maintain detailed records of client interactions, medical histories, and laboratory results.
- Stay informed about USDA regulations, DEA regulations related to controlled substances, and veterinary terminology to ensure compliance and accurate communication.
Experience
- Prior experience working in a veterinary clinic or animal hospital environment is REQUIRED.
- Demonstrated proficiency with veterinary software systems and Microsoft Office applications.
- Knowledge of veterinary critical care procedures, laboratory procedures, animal anatomy, and aseptic techniques.
- Familiarity with companion animal medicine and terminology.
- Kennel experience or background in animal husbandry is advantageous.
- Strong customer service skills combined with excellent communication abilities to foster positive client relationships.

Pay: $17.00 - $19.50 per hour
