SYNERGY HomeCare of Miami is seeking experienced, compassionate, and reliable Certified Nursing Assistants (CNAs) and Home Health Aides (HHAs) to provide non-medical in-home care services throughout Miami-Dade County.
This is a 1099 Independent Contractor position. We are currently experiencing high demand for English-speaking caregivers and are looking for professionals who can communicate effectively with clients, families, and healthcare professionals.
Compensation:
- $18.00–$19.50 per hour
- Higher rates may be considered for candidates with exceptional experience and qualifications

Requirements:
- Fluent or highly proficient spoken English
- Must successfully pass an English proficiency interview
- Minimum 1 year of private duty, home care, assisted living, hospital, rehabilitation, or nursing home experience
- Valid CNA license or HHA certificate
- Reliable transportation
- Professional and compassionate demeanor
- Ability to assist with activities of daily living (ADLs)

- Dementia and Alzheimer's care

- Escort to appointments and errands
Required Documents:

- CNA License or HHA Certificate
- Unrestricted Social Security Card
- Valid Driver's License or Government-Issued ID
- Current CPR/BLS Certification
- Physical Examination completed within the last 6 months stating "Free of Communicable Diseases"
- Auto Insurance Declaration Page
- Professional References
- Level 2 Background Screening (if available)
- HIV/AIDS 4-Hour Training Certificate (HIV 104)
- Alzheimer's/Dementia Training Certificate
- Required In-Service Training Certificates (HIPAA, OSHA, Infection Control, Assisting with Self-Medication, Elder Abuse)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience with dementia and Alzheimer's clients
- Experience with transfers and mobility assistance
- Post-operative care experience
- Availability for weekends, overnights, and live-in assignments
- Bilingual English/Spanish is a plus
