Dental Hygienist:
We are a small, friendly two dentists private practice office seeking a dental hygienist to join our team. Excellent communications skills with staff and patients are a must. The ideal candidate will be an outgoing, proactive self-starter. If you are the right candidate for this position, you will feel comfortable in treating all dental hygiene procedures to patients and promote good oral health practices. Answering patient questions regarding dental hygiene and homecare instructions.
The part time Dental Hygienist position is 1-2 days a week, from 8:00am to 5:00pm with a one-hour lunch.
Education:
- X-Ray Certified
- RDH license
Technical:
- Experience with an electronic health records system is a plus
Soft:
- Excellent communication (written and spoken)
- Friendly demeanor with the ability to answer questions clearly and assertively
- Ability to work alongside a healthcare team and support staff
- Professional in all areas (appearance, patient-doctor interaction, working with support staff, etc.)
- Ability to work in a well-structured environment, who works well under pressure, accepts constructive criticism and who takes direction well
- Detail-oriented and organized with a proactive approach to complete tasks
- Must be punctual (reliable transportation is required)
