Schedule: 4 Days On | 2 Days Off Rotation

As a Medication Technician, you will help residents maintain their health, dignity, independence, and quality of life by safely administering medications while providing compassionate daily care and support.
Responsibilities include:
- Administer medications and treatments according to physician orders and state regulations
- Accurately document medications, treatments, observations, and resident care in the electronic health record
- Monitor residents for changes in condition, medication side effects, and adverse reactions
- Communicate with physicians, pharmacies, hospice agencies, home health providers, therapists, residents, and family members regarding resident care
- Perform vital signs, weights, and other delegated health monitoring tasks
- Maintain medication carts, medication rooms, and storage areas in a clean, secure, and organized manner
- Complete medication audits, incident reports, and required documentation accurately and promptly
- Respond promptly to resident call systems and emergency situations
- Assist residents with activities of daily living, mobility, meals, companionship, and emotional support as needed
- Promote resident independence while providing compassionate assistance
- Help create a safe, welcoming, and resident-centered environment every day
