OVERVIEW:
As part of our nursing team, you will enjoy no call, no weekends and no holidays. Under the direct supervision of our Director of Nursing, the Pre-op RN will be responsible for the pre-op portion of the patients visit. In coordination with our Intake RN, they will review all required consents with patients upon arrival. They will also perform any necessary pre-op testing and start IVs. Our nursing team is also cross trained to PACU.
Our nursing team also participates in chart auditing & quality improvement projects.

REQUIREMENTS:
Not everyone can be the excellent addition to our team that we are seeking. To be seriously considered for this role, please have the following in regard to:
· Experience: At least 1 years in a similar role with comparable goals and responsibilities; preferably at an Ambulatory Surgery Center.
· Licensure/Certifications: Active RN license in the state of Texas. Current ACLS & PALS certification. (or successful completion of certification within 90 days of employment)
· Skills: You must have good communication and human relations skills. You must also be a strong team player. We are seeking someone who can demonstrate the ability to direct and provide for patient care in emergency situations. You should be organized and willing to adhere to all facility policies and procedures. Fluent Spanish skills are highly valued.
