Job description:
Florentin Bakery is seeking a dependable Busser to support daily service by maintaining a clean, organized dining area and ensuring tables are turned quickly and efficiently. In this role, you will play a key part in the guest experience by keeping the floor running smoothly and supporting the front-of-house team throughout service.
This position is part of an upcoming new location opening in SEPTEMBER. All team members will begin by training and working at our Hollywood location to learn our systems, service style, and standards before transitioning to the new store.
Duties:
- Clear, clean, and reset tables quickly to support efficient table turnover
- Maintain cleanliness and organization of the dining room, counter areas, and guest spaces
- Transport dishware, glassware, and utensils to the dish area throughout the shift
- Restock service items, utensils, napkins, and supplies as needed
- Assist with sweeping, wiping surfaces, and maintaining floors during and after service
- Support servers, cashiers, and kitchen staff to keep service moving smoothly
- Greet and assist guests as needed with a friendly, professional attitude
- Maintain cleanliness of restrooms and common areas as assigned
- Assist with opening, closing, and daily cleaning duties
- Follow all cleanliness, sanitation, and food safety standards
Requirements:
- Previous busser, host, or restaurant experience preferred
- Ability to work quickly and stay organized in a fast-paced environment
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 30 lbs
- Friendly attitude and team-oriented mindset
- Good communication skills
- Reliable, punctual, and able to work a flexible schedule (including weekends and holidays)
- Must be legally authorized to work in the USA
- Bilingual is a plus
Pay: $16.00 - $19.00 per hour
