Duties
- Greet guests warmly and seat them promptly, ensuring a welcoming atmosphere from the start
- Take accurate food and beverage orders using POS systems like Aloha POS or Micros POS, processing transactions efficiently and accurately
- Provide detailed menu guidance.
- Serve food and beverages with professionalism.
- Clear tables efficiently by bussing and resetting for new guests, maintaining cleanliness and sanitation standards
- Assist in food preparation or kitchen support as needed during busy periods to ensure smooth operations
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with a strong understanding of customer service principles
- Familiarity with POS systems like Aloha POS, Micros POS, or similar platforms for sales transaction processing
- Excellent time management skills to handle multiple tables and tasks simultaneously without compromising quality
- Strong communication skills for guest relations and teamwork within a dynamic setting
- Basic math skills for accurate cash handling and processing sales transactions
- Commitment to food safety, sanitation standards, and proper food handling procedures
- Previous experience is a plus but not required; enthusiasm to learn is essential
