Job Summary
We are seeking a dynamic and visionary Director of Preschool to lead our early childhood education program with enthusiasm and strategic insight. In this pivotal role, you will oversee the development and implementation of a high-quality preschool curriculum, called Wonder Of Learning, foster a nurturing environment for young learners, and ensure operational excellence across all aspects of the preschool. Your leadership will inspire staff, engage families, and promote a vibrant community dedicated to early childhood development. Duties
- Lead the design, development, and continuous improvement of innovative preschool curriculum called "Wonder Of Learning", that align with educational standards and best practices at Goddard School South Portland.
- Manage daily operations of the preschool, including staffing, scheduling, and resource allocation to ensure a smooth and engaging learning environment.
- Supervise and support teaching staff through coaching, performance evaluations, and professional development initiatives.
- Develop and execute strategic plans for program growth, community engagement, and educational excellence.
- Cultivate relationships with families, community partners, and stakeholders through effective communication and public speaking engagements.
Requirements
- Proven experience in education administration with a strong background in preschool or early childhood education.
- Demonstrated expertise in curriculum development tailored for young children.
- Extensive management experience overseeing staff, budgets, and program operations.
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate teams and foster a collaborative environment.
- Excellent public speaking skills to represent the preschool at community events and stakeholder meetings.
- Hands-on classroom experience working directly with students in early childhood settings.
- Knowledge of educational standards, safety regulations, and best practices in early childhood education.
Pay: $50,000.00 - $60,000.00 per year
