We are seeking a dynamic and detail-oriented paralegal to join our legal team. Responsibilities
- Conduct detailed legal research.
- Draft, review, and proofread legal documents including contracts, pleadings, memoranda, and correspondence with accuracy and attention to detail.
- Manage case files efficiently through document review, organization, and electronic filing systems.
- Assist attorneys with client communication by preparing summaries and facilitating interviews while maintaining confidentiality.
- Handle administrative tasks such as data entry, filing, scheduling appointments, and maintaining organized case records.
Experience
- Proven paralegal experience supporting practice areas related to estate planning and administration.
- Demonstrated ability to handle confidential information with integrity and professionalism.
- Excellent organizational skills with the capacity to manage multiple priorities efficiently.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel), document processing tools, and legal case management systems like Clio.
- Effective communication skills for client interactions and team collaboration; experience with interviewing clients is advantageous.
- Knowledge of probate procedural law requirements in Oregon and Washington; prior law office experience is highly valued.
