Job Summary
We are seeking a highly skilled Technical Trainer / Military Operations Specialist to support advanced communications systems for a leading Aerospace & Defense organization.
This role combines hands-on system integration, hardware/software configuration, testing, troubleshooting, and technical instruction. The ideal candidate is comfortable working directly with complex communications equipment, developing and delivering technical training, and ensuring end users are fully prepared to operate mission-critical systems.
An Active TS/SCI Security Clearance with a Current Polygraph is required.
Responsibilities
- Configure, integrate, and document hardware and software systems for testing.
- Install and load custom and commercial software across multiple platforms.
- Build, configure, troubleshoot, and upgrade communications systems.
- Develop and deliver instructor-led classroom and hands-on technical training.
- Create and maintain technical training materials and documentation.
- Train end users on system operation, maintenance, and troubleshooting.
- Collaborate with engineering and design teams on new system capabilities and updates.
- Support system integration and deployment activities.
- Perform hardware and software testing and validation.
- Develop and execute system test procedures.
- Maintain operational readiness of training systems.
- Troubleshoot hardware, software, and integration issues.
- Travel as required to customer sites for training and system deployment.
- Ensure students complete training with operational confidence and proficiency.
Required Qualifications
- Bachelor's Degree in Engineering, Information Technology, Military Science, Computer Science, Electronics, or a related field.
- Minimum 4 years of relevant experience.
- Active TS/SCI Security Clearance with Current Polygraph (currently in use).
- Experience configuring and integrating hardware and software systems.
- Experience developing and delivering technical training.
- Experience writing or executing test procedures.
- Strong troubleshooting skills.
- Excellent communication and presentation skills.
- Ability to explain complex technical concepts to varied audiences.
- Willingness to travel as needed.

Work Schedule
9/80 Schedule
Employees work 80 hours over nine days every two weeks and receive every other Friday off.
