Job Overview
We are seeking an experienced CDL-A Driver with heavy haul transportation experience to operate Goldhofer hydraulic platform trailers and other specialized transport equipment. The ideal candidate will safely transport oversized and overweight loads while maintaining compliance with all federal, state, and local regulations.
Responsibilities
- Safely operate CDL-A commercial vehicles hauling oversized and overweight loads.
- Operate and assist in setup of Goldhofer hydraulic trailers and modular transport systems.
- Conduct pre-trip, en-route, and post-trip inspections of trucks, trailers, and equipment.
- Assist with loading, securing, and unloading specialized cargo.
- Perform axle steering operations and trailer configuration adjustments as required.
- Coordinate with project managers, rigging crews, escorts, and law enforcement during transport operations.
- Obtain and comply with permits, route surveys, and transportation requirements.
- Complete driver logs, inspection reports, and required documentation.
- Maintain equipment cleanliness and perform basic preventative maintenance.
- Follow all company safety policies and DOT regulations.
- Travel extensively and work flexible schedules, including nights, weekends, and extended trips when required.
Qualifications
- Class A CDL with Doubles and Triple endorsements.
- Must have a minimum of 2 years verifiable recent driving experience and a clean criminal and driving record.
- Preferred experience with heavy equipment or oversized loads.
Physical Requirements
- Ability to lift up to 75 pounds.
- Ability to climb, bend, kneel, and work outdoors in varying weather conditions.
- Ability to stand and walk for extended periods during load setup and transport operations.

Pay: $30.00 - $45.00 per hour
