Responsibilities
- Assist with food preparation, including chopping, plating, and assembling dishes in accordance with safety and quality standards
- Maintain cleanliness of kitchen areas by cleaning surfaces, utensils, and equipment regularly
- Support food running and serving duties to ensure timely delivery of orders to guests
- Buss tables and clear dishes promptly to uphold a tidy dining environment
- Handle manual lifting of supplies and equipment safely, following proper lifting practices for heavy items
- Manage food handling responsibilities in compliance with food safety regulations and hygiene standards
- Operate POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for order processing and payments
- Assist with in-person customer service by addressing guest inquiries politely and professionally
- Support banquet or special event setups as needed, ensuring guest satisfaction through attentive service
- Follow all safety protocols related to heavy lifting, manual handling, and food safety procedures
Skills
- Proven experience in food service or restaurant environments, with knowledge of kitchen operations
- Strong cleaning skills to uphold sanitation standards in all areas of the kitchen and dining space
- Excellent communication skills to coordinate effectively with team members and interact positively with guests
- Ability to perform heavy lifting safely while adhering to safe lifting practices
- Familiarity with food handling procedures and food safety regulations
- Experience using POS systems such as Aloha POS or Micros POS for efficient transactions
- Previous banquet experience or hospitality background is a plus
- Demonstrated ability to work efficiently under pressure in fast-paced settings
- Exceptional customer service skills with a friendly, professional attitude
