Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) – Home Health

Alpine Home Health Services is seeking a dependable and compassionate Physical Therapist Assistant (PTA) to provide skilled physical therapy services to patients in their homes throughout the Placerville area.
Responsibilities:
- Provide physical therapy treatments under the supervision of a licensed Physical Therapist.
- Follow the established plan of care.
- Assist patients with therapeutic exercises, gait training, balance activities, transfers, strengthening, and functional mobility.
- Educate patients and caregivers regarding home exercises, fall prevention, and safe mobility.
- Monitor and document the patient’s response to treatment and progress toward goals.
- Communicate changes in the patient’s condition to the supervising Physical Therapist and care team.
- Complete accurate and timely electronic documentation.
- Follow all agency policies, safety standards, and Medicare home health requirements.
Qualifications:
- Current California Physical Therapist Assistant license.
- Graduate of an accredited PTA program.
- Current CPR certification.
- Valid California driver’s license, reliable transportation, and automobile insurance.
- Strong communication, organizational, and documentation skills.
- Home health experience is preferred but not required.
- Ability to work independently and travel within the Placerville service area.
