Compensation Package:
- Regular Pay Rate: $64.00/Hour
- Overtime Rate: $96.00/Hour (1.5x)
- Holiday Rate: $96.00/Hour (1.5x)
- On-Call Rate: $2.05/Hour
- Call Back Rate: 1.5x Regular Rate
- Estimated Weekly Gross: $3,072 (48 Hours)
- Estimated Bi-Weekly Gross: $6,144 (96 Hours)
Position Overview:
Pikeville Medical Center is seeking an experienced Surgical/Orthopedic Registered Nurse to provide comprehensive nursing care for post-operative, orthopedic, trauma, and medical-surgical patients. The ideal candidate will possess strong clinical assessment skills and the ability to thrive in a fast-paced acute care environment.
Key Responsibilities:
- Perform comprehensive patient assessments and reassessments
- Deliver pre-operative and post-operative nursing care
- Manage pain control and medication administration
- Provide chest tube, PEG/G-Tube/J-Tube, and drain care
- Administer IV therapies, transfusions, and specialized drips
- Access and maintain central lines
- Monitor and document patient progress accurately
- Educate patients and families regarding treatment plans
- Collaborate effectively with physicians and interdisciplinary teams
- Ensure compliance with facility policies, safety standards, and infection-control practices
Pay: $64.00 per hour
