Associate Partner, Business / Transactional Attorney
Salary; $119,250-$159,000
Overview
We are seeking an experienced Associate Partner level Business / Transactional Attorney to support high-impact commercial and contractual work. This role will partner closely with internal business stakeholders and leadership to drive contract strategy, structure transactions, and support scalable growth initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead and support drafting, review, and negotiation of a wide range of commercial agreements, including technology, SaaS, licensing, vendor, and partnership contracts
- Serve as a strategic advisor to business teams on transactional matters, risk mitigation, and deal structuring
- Partner closely with cross-functional stakeholders to ensure alignment between legal strategy and business objectives
- Provide practical, solutions-oriented counsel in fast-moving, ambiguous environments
- Support the development and standardization of contract processes and playbooks
- Navigate complex negotiations with a balanced, business-forward approach
Qualifications
- Juris Doctor (JD) with active bar membership in good standing
- 7+ years of experience in business or transactional law
- Strong background supporting technology companies, preferably including high-growth or startup environments
- Experience with companies developing or commercializing software or applications is highly preferred
- Demonstrated ability to manage end-to-end contract lifecycles and advise on complex transactions
- Strong commercial acumen with the ability to translate legal concepts into actionable business guidance
