Stites & Harbison, PLLC, a full-service law firm, is seeking an experienced, highly technical, and detail-oriented Paralegal to support our Construction and Data Center Service Groups. In this role, you’ll work directly with attorneys on drafting and reviewing legal documents and correspondence, contract preparation and administration, legal research, organizing transaction files, and coordinating due diligence.
This is an in-office position. Candidates must reside within commuting distance of Lexington, Kentucky.

What You'll Do
- Draft, review, and revise construction contracts and related legal documents
- Assist attorneys with contract administration and project documentation
- Organize and maintain client files and legal documents
- Prepare correspondence, memoranda, and reports
- Coordinate document execution and signature processes
- Assist with due diligence and document review
- Track deadlines and maintain project files
- Communicate with clients, consultants, contractors, and internal staff
- Utilize document management software to organize and maintain legal records
- Assist attorneys with monthly billing and invoicing
What You Bring
- 5+ years of paralegal experience, preferably in construction law, commercial transactions, real estate, or corporate law
- Associate's or Bachelor's degree in Paralegal Studies, a Paralegal Certificate, or a Bachelor’s degree in a related field
- Advanced proficiency in Microsoft Office, legal research tools, litigation software, and spreadsheet applications
- Demonstrated ability to quickly learn new technologies, including document management systems, legal software, collaboration platforms, and AI tools
- Knowledge of current legal issues and trends in construction law
- Strong writing, proofreading, and analytical skills
- Comfortable communicating with attorneys, clients, and outside parties on complex matters
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and solve practical problems in a fast-paced environment with accuracy and discretion
