Job Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated CNA/Personal Care Specialist to join our care team. The ideal candidate will provide essential support to assist clients with daily living activities, ensuring a high standard of care. This role is vital in maintaining the comfort and well-being of clients in their homes.
Responsibilities
- Assist patients with personal hygiene tasks such as bathing, grooming, and dressing.
- Help patients with mobility, including transferring them to and from beds or wheelchairs.
- Maintain accurate documentation.
- Engage with patients to provide emotional support and companionship.
- Follow safety protocols and infection control procedures to ensure a safe environment for both patients and staff.
- Collaborate with care team to develop client care plans tailored to individual needs.
- Weekend rotation required
Experience
Candidates should possess experience or familiarity in one or more of the following areas:
- Providing care for individuals within the home.
- Working in nursing homes or long-term care facilities.
- Familiarity with client interactions.
- Proficiency in documentation practices.
