Overview
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Instructor to join our team. The ideal candidate will have a passion for teaching and a strong background in physical education, sports coaching, or martial arts such as Judo and Karate. This role involves educating students in various physical activities while promoting a safe and engaging learning environment. The Instructor will play a crucial role in fostering students' physical development, confidence, and teamwork skills.
Responsibilities
- Develop and implement lesson plans that align with curriculum standards and student needs.
- Instruct students in various physical activities, including Judo, Karate, and general gym exercises.
- Monitor student progress and provide constructive feedback to enhance their skills.
- Manage classroom behavior effectively to maintain a positive learning environment.
- Organize sports coaching sessions that encourage teamwork, discipline, and respect among students.
- Ensure the safety of all participants during activities by enforcing rules and guidelines.
- Engage with parents or guardians regarding student development and any concerns that may arise.
- Participate in ongoing professional development to stay current with best practices in physical education and childcare.
Skills
- Strong knowledge of physical education principles and practices.
- Experience working with students of various ages in educational or recreational settings.
- Proficiency in behavior management techniques to support student engagement.
- Ability to climb and navigate gym equipment safely while demonstrating exercises.
- Background in sports coaching or martial arts is highly desirable, particularly in Judo or Karate.
- Excellent communication skills to effectively educate and motivate students.
- A passion for promoting health, fitness, and well-being among children and adolescents.
