GBA is seeking an experienced, educated, and highly engaging full-time classroom teacher for our Upper School. This position will require a teacher who is willing and able to carry out the duties and responsibilities of leading a classroom to the glory of God and to the ultimate benefit of the school’s entire program. A strong candidate will possess a strong testimony for Jesus Christ with faithfulness and integrity in their personal and professional life. This candidate must demonstrate a strong commitment to the mission and ministry of Grace Baptist Academy and have a passion for partnering with parents and seeing students discipled through Christian education. A bachelor's degree in a Secondary Education discipline as well as certification is expected, but advanced degrees and further experience would be considered very valuable. A teacher at GBA must be committed to making direct connections to Scripture and guiding students to evaluate content through a Biblical worldview. Skills and experience in coaching sports, leading clubs, or other extracurricular activities are extremely valuable as there are opportunities at the academy, and they provide exceptional discipleship opportunities.
Bachelors degree / Masters degree preferred in education or content field
