Full-Time | Growth Opportunity into Manager Role
Camp Bow Wow is looking for a dependable, energetic, hands-on Assistant Manager to help lead our dog daycare and boarding team.
This position supports the Camp Manager and Owner with daily operations, staff supervision, customer service, dog care, safety, cleanliness, and front desk support. This is a great opportunity for someone who loves dogs, enjoys working with people, and wants to grow into a future Camp Manager role.
Responsibilities
- Help supervise, train, and support Camp Counselors
- Assist with daily staff assignments and shift coverage
- Ensure dogs are safe, well cared for, and properly supervised
- Monitor play yards, boarding cabins, feeding, medication, and special care instructions
- Support front desk operations, reservations, check-ins, and check-outs
- Provide excellent customer service to pet parents
- Help maintain a clean, safe, and organized facility
- Assist with opening and closing procedures
- Promote teamwork, accountability, and a positive work environment
- Learn the operational responsibilities needed to grow into the Manager position
Qualifications
- Must love dogs
- Previous pet care, dog daycare, boarding, veterinary, grooming, retail, or hospitality experience preferred
- Prior leadership, supervisor, or assistant manager experience preferred
- Strong customer service and communication skills
- Organized, dependable, and able to multitask
- Comfortable working in a fast-paced, hands-on environment
- Able to work with dogs of all sizes and temperaments
- Willing to work mornings, evenings, weekends, and holidays as needed
Schedule
Full-time position. Camp is open 7 days per week, so flexible availability is required.
Growth Opportunity
The right candidate will receive training and increasing responsibility with the goal of growing into the Camp Manager role. Pay steps will increase with progression.
