Position Summary
This role is responsible for installing, troubleshooting, repairing, and maintaining electrical and mechanical systems in a fast-paced manufacturing environment. The ideal candidate will have strong experience in industrial electrical systems, automation, and mechanical maintenance.

Key Performance Areas (Essential Functions of the Position)
- Plans layout of wiring and installs wiring, conduit, and electrical apparatus in buildings.
- Install, wire, and commission new equipment and system upgrades
- Diagnoses and repair electrical systems including motors, VFDs, PLCs, sensors, and control panels
- Diagnoses and replaces faulty mechanical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and electronic components of machines and equipment.
- Replaces faulty electrical components of machine such as relays, switches, and motors, and positions sensing devices
- Perform preventive and predictive maintenance on production and packaging equipment
- Troubleshoot mechanical systems such as conveyors, hydraulics, pneumatics, and bale processing equipment
- Interpret electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical manuals
- Support and troubleshoot automated and robotic equipment, including Fuji robotic systems
- Assist with basic robotic diagnostics, calibration, and routine maintenance
- Utilize CMMS to track work orders, repairs, and maintenance activities
- Collaborate with operations and production teams to minimize downtime and improve efficiency
- Maintain compliance with OSHA and company safety standards, including Lockout/Tagout (LOTO) procedures

Experiences / Education Requirements
- High school diploma or GED required; technical or trade school preferred
- 3+ years of industrial maintenance experience (multi-craft preferred)
- Strong electrical troubleshooting skills (480V, 3-phase systems)
- Experience with PLCs (Allen-Bradley/Rockwell preferred) and VFDs
- Working knowledge of mechanical systems including hydraulics and pneumatics
- Experience with Fuji robotic systems or similar industrial robots is a plus
- Ability to read and interpret electrical diagrams and schematics
- Experience using CMMS systems is a plus
- Welding and fabrication experience preferred but not required
- Journeyman Electrician License (recommended but not required)
Working Conditions
General Manufacturing Environment:
Work is regularly performed inside the plant and occasionally in the surrounding grounds and facilities. Because of this, employees are frequently exposed to adverse weather conditions including extreme heat, cold, wind, rain and snow. Lighting varies based on the season, weather and conditions in the plant. Employees regularly work near moving mechanical parts, material handling equipment and are exposed to ergonomic hazards, noise and dust.

While performing the duties of the job the employee is regularly required to talk, hear, read, write and communicate in fluent English. The employee is frequently required to stand; walk; use hands to finger, handle or feel; and reach with hands and arms along with frequent lifting, pushing/pulling of items 30-50 pounds, and operating machinery or equipment. There is occasional climbing, kneeling, and working in confined spaces.
