Job Overview:
Elysium Tiles Inc is seeking an Outside Sales Account Manager to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for developing new business opportunities and maintaining existing customer relationships. This position will report to the Sales Manager.
Territory: San Fernando Valley, Santa Clarita, Thousand Oaks, Ventura.
Duties and Responsibilities
- Must be able and willing to travel frequently throughout the territory.
- Responsible to display the products based on specifications.
- Maintain close communication with the manager and/or office staff about customer samples.
- Maintain constant communication with the manager about the performance of the accounts.
- Maintain consistent communication and timely follow-ups with customers, prospects, and managers.
- Service existing customers, up-sell current customers. Open new accounts.
- Responsible for building and expanding the business within the territory by calling and visiting potential customers.
- Responsible for keeping the company vehicle clean and well-maintained conditions.
Qualifications and Skills
- 1-2 years of experience in outside sales or related field preferred.
- Associate degree is preferred
- Ability to build and maintain positive relationships with people at all levels.
- Ability to perform quality work in an organized manner.
- Valid Driver's License.
- Must have a 3 year clean driving record
PHYSICAL DEMANDS:
- Standing, walking, moving, carrying, bending, kneeling, reaching, handling, pushing and pulling.
- Ability to lift up to 75 lbs. unassisted and regularly. (This is a physical demanding job and 70% of job is merchandising)
COMPENSATION:
· $55,000 - $100,000 (Base (DOE)+ generous Commission)
· 10 paid holidays plus 8 PTO days per year
