American Traveler is seeking a Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) with NICU experience for a 13-week night shift contract at a Critical Access Hospital in Wisconsin.

Critical Access Hospital (CAH) setting

Respiratory Therapy department

NICU patient population, among others

12-hour night shifts, 7p–7a
-
Alternating schedule: 3 shifts one week (36 hrs) and 4 shifts the next week (48 hrs)

Every other weekend rotation (Friday, Saturday, and Sunday)

Holiday rotation required

Minimum 4 years of Respiratory Therapy experience

NICU experience required
-
Active WI Respiratory Therapist license required if applicable

Current certifications: Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT) and BLS
-
DOB and SSN may be required for consideration
-
Perform diagnostic and pulmonary function tests and develop individualized patient treatment plans
-
Monitor and assess patients' respiratory progress and adjust care plans accordingly
-
Perform phlebotomies and IV starts/removals as needed
-
Educate patients on administering respiratory treatments and using related equipment
