with proficiency in dental assisting techniques including four-handed dentistry and chairside support
- Duties
- Prepare treatment rooms with dental instruments, supplies, and sterilized equipment in accordance with infection prevention management and aseptic techniques
- Assist dentist chairside during a variety of procedures including endodontics, prosthodontics and restorative dentistry.
- Take dental x-rays while ensuring compliance with HIPAA and clinical confidentiality policies
- Knowledge of Dentrix Software is a must.
- Manage patient flow by scheduling appointments when necessary to help out.
- Inventory and ordering of clinical supplies a must.
- Perform vital signs assessments and medical imaging to support accurate diagnosis and treatment planning
- Process dental instruments following sterilization procedures and maintain strict infection control standards
- Educate patients on oral health care practices, post-treatment instructions, and preventive measures to promote long-term dental health Qualifications
- Valid certification as a Dental Assistant with current licensure or registration as required by local regulations
- Proven experience working in a dental clinic environment Knowledge of dental terminology, anatomy, dental equipment operation, and medical terminology relevant to dentistry
