Job Summary
We are seeking a Spanish Teacher to teach a Spanish phonology program designed for Pre-Kindergarten and Kindergarten. The program will provide systematic instruction in Spanish sounds, pronunciation, phonemic awareness, listening comprehension, and early literacy skills using age-appropriate lessons that foster language acquisition through songs, games, storytelling, movement and interactive activities. The curriculum will be provided by The Spanish Clubhouse along with all materials needed.
Duties
- Manage classroom dynamics effectively by applying classroom management strategies, conflict resolution skills, and behavior management techniques.
- Incorporate literacy education principles to enhance reading and writing skills in Spanish across different age groups.
- Collaborate with colleagues on curriculum development.
- Ensure compliance with educational regulations and standards while fostering an inclusive environment that promotes cultural awareness.
Skills
- Experience working with children across various age groups including preschoolers, toddlers, or early childhood learners.
- Familiarity with classroom management techniques that promote positive behavior and conflict resolution.
- Early Childhood Education degree preferred
- Native Spanish Speaker preferred.
Pay: $40.00 per hour
