Overview
We are seeking a compassionate and dedicated Care Partners to join our team. In this role, you will provide essential support to individuals. Your primary focus will be on enhancing the quality of life for residents by assisting them with daily activities and ensuring their comfort and safety. Experience is not required, you just have to having a warm and compassionate heart for caring for seniors.
Duties
- Assist residents with Activities of Daily Living (ADLs) such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and meal preparation.
- Provide personal care and support to individuals with developmental disabilities, dementia, Alzheimer's disease, and other memory-related conditions.
- Monitor and record vital signs as needed, ensuring accurate documentation in EMR systems.
- Support residents in maintaining their independence while providing direct support when necessary.
- Engage residents in social activities to promote mental well-being and companionship.
- Maintain cleanliness and organization in living spaces, ensuring a safe environment for all residents.
- Utilize equipment such as Hoyer lifts safely when assisting residents with mobility challenges.
- Collaborate with management to implement individualized care plans tailored to each resident's needs.
Requirements
- Previous experience in senior care, long-term care, or home & community care is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of first aid practices and emergency response protocols.
- Strong interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with residents, families, and team members.
- Ability to perform cleaning tasks as part of maintaining a healthy living environment.
- Must be able to pass criminal history check

Job Type: Full-time
Pay: $17.50 - $18.50 per hour
