Job Summary
We are seeking a motivated and detail-oriented Electrical Technician to join our team in assembling and wiring advanced machine panels. In this role, you will be responsible for the precise construction of electrical panels, integrating electro-mechanical components, and ensuring all wiring and circuitry meet strict quality standards. Your expertise will directly contribute to the manufacturing of reliable, high-performance machinery used across various industries. Duties
- Assemble electrical panels by following detailed blueprints, schematics, and wiring diagrams, ensuring all connections are accurate and secure.
- Interpret electrical schematics and technical drawings to correctly wire components such as circuit boards, relays, contactors, and sensors.
- Use hand tools, power tools, calipers, ohmmeters, and soldering equipment to install and test electro-mechanical components with precision.
- Troubleshoot electrical issues by diagnosing problems with wiring or components using engineering troubleshooting techniques.
- Follow IPC 610 standards for electronics assembly to maintain high-quality workmanship and ensure compliance with industry regulations.
- Collaborate with mechanical teams during mechanical assembly of panels and ensure proper integration of electrical systems within mechanical frameworks.
Requirements
- Proven experience in electrical assembly, wiring, or electronics manufacturing within a production environment.
- Strong knowledge of reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical diagrams.
- Ability to use hand tools such as screwdrivers, wire strippers, pliers, calipers, and power tools safely and effectively.
- Experience with soldering techniques aligned with IPC 610 standards for electronic assemblies.
- Competence in using testing equipment like ohmmeters and multimeters for troubleshooting circuits.
- Mechanical knowledge related to machining or mechanical assembly is a plus for understanding integrated systems.
- Excellent attention to detail, manual dexterity, and the ability to follow detailed instructions accurately.
- Electrical experience involving programmable logic controllers (PLCs), electro-mechanical components, or electrical blueprint reading is highly desirable.
